About the site

Pixelbox has been my online home since about 2003 when I released my first domain www.shumi.co.uk (which was Japanese for hobby ).

Originally it was a place for me to demo my web design, projects and send people who were interested in using me, during my holidays from University.

Now I have finally got around to setting pixelbox up as a blog. I am using the always impressive Word Press which I used for our travel blog www.250505.com and time permitting, I'm getting around to tweaking it and implementing some cool features.

I am hosting the site through www.8-95.com which is nice and cheep and although they are not using PHP5 yet :( they are a nice bunch!

About me

I finished a degree in computer studies at the University of Brighton in 2005 and went travelling.

I then got a job through a recruitment company called Ecom. I am now the product manager of Ceros. I still try and do as much development as I can around organising a smooth running of day to day development and planning where to take things next.

Aside from work I support Liverpool, have a lovely girlfriend and live in Clapham London.

I like to take photos and some of these can be seen on my flickr page. I also like snowboarding and try and get out there at least once a year. When I'm relaxing at home and not in front of my mac, I can be found on xbox live (robmcm) and taking on my friends at PES.
