CustomChrome ShotI had some problems getting custom chrome to work with Apollo, and also getting a code behind files to work.

I am one of those people who is a bit of a tidy freak with code, and try as much as I can to seperate things sensiably. I also find I much rather developing functionality in ActionScript 3 rather than MXML, so it makes sence to seperate my AS3 from MXML where possiable.

This example turnes off all the system chrome, and uses a background image, to apply a drop shadow, and also has custom “close”, “minimise” and dragable application bar.

I am sure this isn’t perfect (like having the creationComplete called from the MXML) so let me know if you have any sugestions!

Apollo runtime (needed to run apollo apps)

CustomChrome (.air install file)

CustomChromeSource ( Flex2 source code )

Please use this as you choose, if you find it useful let me know or click some ads ;)

Not sure there is anything you can do about that. If anything it’s down to how AIR works :(
