I'm moving

I am moving house this weekend, and will be without the internet for god knows how long, as I attempt to battle my way through the mess and confusion surrounding broadband paperwork. I am sure something will go wrong with holders on lines or something, but you never know.

I decided to go with the freeview / Be* combo for my AV needs. It's cheep up front and I can always change at a later date as the Be* unlimited is on a 3 month rolling contract.

Other than that wish me luck, both with moving and the compulsory trip to IKEA tonight... shudder!

    Good luck - moving is a right pain but to have to toss IKEA into the mix... Hope the broadband goes well. I was without due to a combination of BT screw-ups and faulty lines for just over a month! All I can say is my 3G card saved me. Have you thought about going with cable?It does look like a much better solution.

    Nevermind just checked out Be* and they look cool. Please give feedback on service/speed/setups etc.

    If you have been following my tweets you will know the whole broadband stuff didn't go totally smoothly! Firstly the line was dead and BT had to come out and fix it, then Be* couldn't find my details (BT had forgotten to update their database with my info.. so that wasted a day or so) then Be* claimed that there was a BACS on my line, which later there appeared not to be... very strange. So now I have an activation date of next Monday, and can expect speeds on 7MB.... not too bad, but I guess the best I will be able to get. Anyway a 3 month rolling contract isn't very scary!
