Gmail your spam

I have been using Gmail since is started about 2 years ago (I can remember people initially thinking it was an April fools joke because of the 1GB of storage they offered). It has come a long way since then, chat, auto saves and the Gmail notifier are some of my favorites features. However one thing that really justifies its £0 price tag is the ability for it to check your p0p3 accounts.
Pop3 checking has been around for a long time, and I can remember using it on Yahoo mail to get emails form my pixelbox address, although it has some limitations. When I was traveling I used my hosts squirrel mail which I must say was very poor compared to the modern email RIAs. I have also recently been having problems with Spam to my domain emails as I used the catch all so I could give out addresses like, IKnowYouWillSpamMe@exampledomain.com and cut out addresses that sold my email address. However this meant I got spam from everything and kind of backfired.
It got to the point where I was only able to check my account when I used my old laptop (having a company one now I would rather not store all my emails on this machine and wanted an archive) and it took about 10 minutes to download all the junk. So I decided to let Gmail deal with it, and it does… my spam box has increased to about 75 emails per day and after marking the one or two that got into my inbox I now get none.
So if you want an archive of your domains emails with great searching, access from anywhere and great spam filtering, just get a free Gmail account :)
