xbox live nightmare

Another night on xbox live last night without being able to hear my friends or play in a private game with them!
Aparently its an aggressive NAT routing problem, but sounds like shoddy M$ to me, as sometimes it works fine and sometimes not at all…
As this is a trial, it makes me thing twice about getting it for real :(
