To xbox or not to xbox

I have been persuading/debating with Tom at work over getting an xbox 360 for a while now and today we went into game to check them out. It looks like we could pick up a pr0 pack with GOW for about £300 and the nice chap there said he would include another remote and PGR for free... which was nice. The idea of playing online with Tom and some other friends that have them was cool, however it was only when I saw, and then watched some info on GRAW2 that I got really excited. It took me back to my SOCOM days on the ps2 which were awesome, and playing with people I know would only make it even more fun. Especially now I'm not living with a load of other gamers and game nights are quite hard to arrange, plus COD2 at work is getting a little old and work more stressful. So if you have any advice let me know as I could do with the finial push... as I'm teetering over the edge...

Why not leave your own!

  1. Ahem. As far as I am concerned there's no debate here. The 360 is the best console out there. Period. Buy one and let me know your gamer tags.
  2. Also check out this Mr "my Wii is the best thing since sliced bread" Link
  3. This isn't about 'best' console... Having been into console gaming for many a year I have learnt that its not about the console its about the games. At the moment the Wii has the best multy player 'party' games by far, if I was having a gaming night with my mates it's the Wii all the way. However I want a few games for the online FPS, 3rdPS aspect to replace call of duty and play when I'm on my own. At the moment the 360 is the only thing out there, and even when the PS3 is out, all of it's games will be ports (initially). I think I will probibly get a PS3 in a year or so, just for MGS, but I can see myself really getting into Vagus and GRAW2! Although I am a little bitter about paying to play online :(
